Pastor Kaleb and First Lady Dawn Barnum
Pastor Kaleb and his family came to New Salem in the spring of 2019 to serve as the interim pastor. In August of 2021 Pastor Barnum became the Senior Pastor. Pastor Kaleb has a deep passion to minister to people of all colors, generations, and background. Kaleb and Dawn have five children and six grandchildren.

New Salem Missionary Baptist Church was organized in 1904 in Tampa, FL. Throughout its history, the church has served as a bright beacon of faith, hope, and love beyond its four walls.
New Salem is committed to sharing the love of God and the message of Good News throughout the world. We welcome people of all ages & cultural backgrounds as we joyfully celebrate worship and fellowship, and carry out ministries of evangelism, discipleship, education, community outreach, and global missions. New Salem’s holistic ministries address the needs of the whole person as well as the whole community.
